In pursuit of keeping up with the trend in communications technology, the former Information Technology Center (ITC) has been re-organized to become the Management Information System and Technology Office (MISTO). It is an office directly under the supervision of the Office of the President which serves as the central planning unit for Information Technology and Allied Systems in the university and to oversee the development and implementation of a Management Information System. Furthermore, MISTO has implemented an integrated telecommunications system and Internet connectivity in the entire university.

One of the challenges of Information Technology is to continually keep up and optimize advances in technology. Through its projects and dedicated IT professionals, the Management Information System and Technology Office is taking the challenge to achieve the University's goals through IT innovations.
