The WMSU - Tampilisan Campus, formerly the Zamboanga del Norte Agricultural College, was founded as the Zamboanga del Norte Agricultural School in 1958. It was in 1964 that the school was converted to an agricultural college. The campus sits on a forest reservation of 2,330 hectares.
