The College of Social Work and Community Development has gained
recognition as one of the country's top Schools of Social Work. Its
mandate includes the training of individuals with a strong concern
for social development with emphasis on the people's welfare. Its
graduates have consistently figured in the professional board examination
for social workers, twice capping the No. 1 slot.

Through quality education, the College envisions a transformed society
where empowered people live in a community, which is just prosperous
gender-sensitive, and free.
Mission:
To produce educated, science-oriented professionals equipped with
advance scientific knowledge, skills, desirable scientific values
and attitudes, and capabilities to search for new knowledge for the
enhancement of the environment and quality of life. It shall endeavor
to push the frontier of knowledge to its limit through research in
the pure and applied science, which shall translate to harmonious,
balanced socio economics and environmental development of the country.
