The College of Education is the oldest College in the university
given the latter's original creation as a Normal School. It is one
of the country's Centers of Excellence for Teacher Education.
Vision:
The College of Education, Western Mindanao State University envisions
itself as a center of Excellence and a globally competitive institution
in human resources development, instruction, research, extension
and production.
Mission:
The College
of Education, Western Mindanao State University is designed to:

produce educated, well-trained, development-oriented
and proactive professional and technical manpower
for socio-eco cultural, techno political development
of the nation;

transformations; develop the critical thinking skills of would-be
