The College of Agriculture

The College of Agriculture was one of the major colleges organized
soon after the school's conversion into a university. Formally opened
in 1979, the college is a fitting response to the need for more professional
agriculturist in both the city and region whose agricultural potentials
are considered vital in socio-economic development.
Vision:
To be an active agent of economic and social change for growth and
development through the adoption of sustainable agriculture and agricultural
modernization in the region.
Mission:
The production of skilled manpower with strong leadership qualities;
establishment and provision of efficient and effective research and
extension services; and self-sufficiently in agriculture production.
