Training of Trainors on Entrepreneurship in JRMSC Tampilisan

On August 03, 2009, the first “Training of Trainers on Entrepreneurship” of AFNR  Project 2, an institutional  capability enhancement program,  a region-wide program under the auspices of PCARRD-DOST “ Enhancing Demand for Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resources Graduates Through Curricular Intervention Using Modular Approach with High S & T Content”  was finally launched on  August  3 to 7, 2009 at the Jose Rizal Memorial State College, KNAS College of agriculture Conference Hall, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte. The 5-day trainers training was participated in by a total of  seventeen (17) faculty from two participating SUC’s, namely Josefina H. Cerilles Memorial State College(JHCMSC)  at Dumingag Campus  with six (6)  participants and eleven (11) faculty from JRMSC, KNAS campus.  The training was focused on the use as well as the content of the newly developed modules by the AFNR Project staff which include; Module 1 Feasibility Study, Project proposal and Business Plan written by Engr. Danilo Fonollera, on the other hand Module 2 Product Development, Module 3 Marketing Management, and Module 4 Accounting for Non-Accountant were written by  Arbaiya L. Abdula and  Florenchita R. Somblingo, respectively, who are faculty of the WMSU, College of Agriculture.
