WMSU acquired a new utility van for the College of Home Economics (CHE). In a simple ceremony headed by the university president, Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho and participated by different WMSU officials and CHE faculty members, the new Toyota HiAce van was blessed near the CHE building.

Department of Education Health and Nutrition Department-IX and WMSU College of Home Economics-Nutrition and Dietetics Department are in partnership in the aim of developing regional local-indigenous vegetable recipes in the hope of improving the nutritional health of schoolchildren.

With the objective to develop gender awareness and sensitivity among WMSU administrative personnel and assist in fostering gender-fair work environment, a Training on Gender and Development (GAD) and Team Building Activities were held last April 21 to 23 at Budgetel Hotel, Corrales Extension, Cagayan de Oro City.
